Welcome to the Southend High School for Boys' Spanish Department. Our aim is to keep pupils, parents and members of staff informed of the latest news, events and developments in the department. You will also find examples of pupils’ work as well as resources for students and teachers.
Spanish Department Information:
New Foreign Language Assistant for 2013-14:
The Spanish department are delighted to welcome Irene Bermejo Morello to the department for the next academic year. From October, Irene will be running small group classes with sixth form students to help them prepare for their oral examination. In addition, Irene will be assisting in Key Stage Three and GCSE classes as well as running the weekly Spanish clinic. Be sure to say hello when you see her!
Upcoming trips:
There will be two residential trips for Spanish students this year.
1. Year 11 Barcelona Trip: November 2013.
2. Year 12 Salamanca Trip: Easter 2014.
